Dr. Neil Simmons is a Pensacola native, born and raised in Perdido. He attended Escambia high school, continuing his education at Pensacola Junior College. Keeping the gator spirit alive, Dr. Simmons graduated cum laude from the University of Florida in 2007 with a Bachelors degree in Biochemistry. He continued his education in Gainesville and received his doctorate from the University Of Florida College Of Dentistry in 2012.
Upon graduating from dental school, Dr. Simmons entered the pediatric specialty program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry. While there, he was selected as a SPARKS Trainee, furthering his knowledge and interest in delivering quality dental treatment for individuals with special needs. Dr. Simmons completed his residency in June 2014 and returned to Pensacola to practice with his wife Allie and their dog Ginger. He also became board certified in Pediatric Dentistry in 2016 and is an active diplomat of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Allison "Allie" Simmons came to us from Raleigh, North Carolina and is excited to be in her new home of Pensacola. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in genetics from North Carolina State University in 2007. She then continued her studies as a Tar Heel at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill where she received her dental degree in 2012. During her time in dental school, Dr. Allie participated in rotations at the Cherokee Indian Health Association Pediatric Dental Clinic and organizing the Cleft Palate Gallop.
Following dental school, Dr. Allie completed her pediatric dental training at the University of Alabama Birmingham. UAB residency provided specialty training with pediatrics and specialized in providing care to patients with special needs. Upon graduation in 2014 she became a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist in 2016.
She has a passion for providing dental care for children and is currently heading up the American Dental Association’s National “Give Kids a Smile Day” in Pensacola. In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband Neil, and their dog, Ginger exploring her new home of Pensacola as well as traveling to see family and friends.
Crystal has been working in the dental field since 2006 and is the smiling face you see when you first enter our door. She loves interacting with patients and establishing good working relationships their families. She also enjoys working with her team of coworkers at Pensacola Kids Dentistry. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband and son. Most of their time together is spent outdoors and with their families.
Libby has been in the dental field for four years and were so glad she's a part of our PKD family. She will gladly answer any questions you may have and is always excited to meet new patients. When not working with us, she spends time with her two daughters and at their family cabin that her husband built by hand.
Beth is a wonderful addition to our team. She is a dental assistant with over 30 years of experience! She joined the PKD family after working with Dr. Siegel for 26 years. Beth really enjoys her new job working with kids! When she is not treating Pensacola's little ones, she enjoys spending time with her family and is excited that her son will be a freshman at Washington high in the fall.
Heather has been in the dental field since 2012. She completed her schooling at WS Neal high school then continued at Fortis to pursue dental assisting. She grew up in Brewton and currently still lives there. Heather is a wonderful addition to our team and works very well with kids of all ages! When she's not singing karaoke in the office she loves Crossfit!
Ashley has over 2 years of experience chair side and is wonderful with kids of all ages! Her welcoming smile and funny personality help all our patients feel right at home. She was relocated to Florida from South Carolina for her husbands job in the Marine Corps. When she's not working with us, she loves to exercise and enjoy the beautiful Florida weather.
